Day 1: Monday - ON SITE

  • Preparation of work area
  • Doors and Face of Drawers Uninstallation ( Doors and drawers faces will be 100% sprayed off site in MS Cabinet Painting Facility )

Day 2. Tuesday - OFF SITE

MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO!

  • - All surfaces of doors and drawer faces must be cleaned with deep cleaner
  • - Sanding - arguably the most important part of this process as it opens up the grain and fibers in the wood to ensure when we spray the primer we achieve the best adhesion results possible
  • - All doors and drawers faces will be checked with our expert and if we find any problems that need to be fixed we will Repair it. ( Cracked or Broken Doors or Drawers, Dents ETC. )
  • Does your kitchen have Thermofoil? NO PROBLEM AT ALL!
  • - Doors and drawer faces with Thermofoil it has to be removed with heater
  • - All remains glue must be remove too and surface will be lightly sanded
  • - Now all is ready for Durable, Extra Bonding and Stain Blocking Primer Designed for Cabinet Painting

Day 3. Wednesday - ON SITE

  • Cabinet boxes and Frames will be cleaned and sanded
  • Protecting all surrounding areas including appliances with mask and tape materials
  • Primer Coats: We start this part of the process by spraying or rolling a catalyzed polyurethane bonding primer. This will create a strong bond that will seal up the wood, creating the proper surface for the finish coat. The primer is also a great stain blocker, which will help block out tannins and other chemical compounds that are naturally found in the wood
  • Now that we’ve lightly sanded back the primer we are ready to apply our two finish coats.

We use a water-based catalyzed polyurethane Designed for Cabinet Painting.

This specialty cabinet finish meets all of the durability requirements set by the KCMA (Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association.) The KCMA sets the standards for the cabinet Industry, and it is extremely difficult for most paints to meet this standard.

After the two finish coats are applied your cabinets will look, last, and feel like they came straight from the factory.
